This year, Altha FCCLA has partnered with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department and Toys for Tots to assist in giving needy families a Christmas. As the FCCLA organization and the community of Altha, we would like to donate enough toys this year for those in need of Christmas toys or supplies. There are over 300 families, in Calhoun County alone, who are in need of Christmas toys/gifts. There are two box locations on the Altha Campus. One of those locations is the Altha School media center and the other is the front office. We will only receive toys that are in unopened packages or boxes.  For those individual who would rather donate money, you can purchase a train for a donation of $1-$10. All donations of toys or monies must be turned in by December 1, 2016. To encourage each grade level to participate in this important Christmas opportunity, the class who donates the most money and toys will be awarded a pizza party! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of the following individuals: Sheila Cook, Meagan Henson, Stephanie Harris, or Graham Bruner.
Let’s make this a Christmas our county will never forget!
