Six students from Altha School recently attended the summer National FCCLA Conference in San Antonio, Texas. These students competed, as well as served with state executive councils from all over the United States of America. While 4 students competed, Collin Mears and Sky Pickron were busy electing the FCCLA national council for the 2015 school year and becoming better leaders for Florida's State Executive Council. Collin has the distinction of serving as the State FCCLA President for the 2015-2016 school year. All of the competitors came home with a silver medal in their individual events! Those competing were Sky Pickron (Applied Math in Culinary Management), Allyson Mears (Recycle and Redesign), and Karsen Hires and Madison Cutchen (Illustrated Talk).  These students, along with the Altha FCCLA advisors, Marie Granger and Meagan Henson, would like to extend a very big "Thank You!" to everyone who helped support these students through monetary gifts and fundraisers.
